Hautfarngewächse oder Schleierfarne (Hymenophyllaceae)
Die Hautfarngewächse oder Schleierfarne sind eine Ordnung der Farne. Sie verdanken den Namen ihren Blattspreiten, die abgesehen von den Blattrippen, nur eine Zellschicht dick sind. In Panama kommen folgende Arten vor:
- Hymenophyllum apiculatum
- Hymenophyllum asplenioides: Das Rhizom ist lang, schlank und glatt. Die Wedel werden bis zu 20 cm lang und 8 bis 10 cm breit.
- Hymenophyllum consanguineum
- Hymenophyllum elegans
- Hymenophyllum fragile
- Hymenophyllum fucoides
- Hymenophyllum hemipteron
- Hymenophyllum hirsutum (L. ): Die Pflanze ist leicht behaart und ihr Rhizom ist lang und schlank. Die Wedel werden bis zu 12 cm lang. Die einzelnen Blattsegmente stehen wechselständig in 6 bis 15 Paaren.
- Hymenophyllum horizontale
- Hymenophyllum lanatum: Die Pflanze ist stark behaart und ihr Rhizom ist lang und schlank. Die Wedel werden 3 bis 6 cm lang und bis 1,5 cm breit.
